Timing belt pulleys: Several types of 1/5 inch pitch timing belt pulleys are available for direct coupling of these widely used transmission components with the "CEM" clutches. The pulleys are designed integrally with bearings, and are free to rotate relative to the mounting shaft. Pulleys are available for 3/16 inch, 1/4 inch, 6 mm, and 8 mm shafts.

Series SP-618-X, Sintered bronze bearings: This series of pulleys is designed with sintered bronze, oil filled bearings. Care is to be exercised against excessive tensioning of the belt, which could cause high bearing loads with the attendant frictional torques and wear. Pulleys with 12 to 48 teeth are standard; 60 and 72 teeth are available on special order.

Series SP-618-Y, Ball bearing pulleys: This series of pulleys is designed with ball bearings. The ball bearing construction is not sensitive to excessive belt tensions as sleeve bearings are. This series of pulleys is recommended where low bearing friction, high speeds, and long life is required. Pulleys with 14 to 48 teeth are standard; 60 and 72 teeth are available on special order.

Series SP-618-Z, Torque limiting pulleys: The pulleys in this series contain a torque limiting slip clutch to protect against momentary overloads. Such overloads frequently occur during the clutching interval as the stationary output is accelerated to the speed of the input. In addition, the limiting of torque during acceleration can help minimize overshoots and load fluctuation of the output. Limit torques up to 5 lb. in are available. Pulleys with 15 to 48 teeth are standard; 60 and 72 teeth are available on special order.

Retaining clamp: The retaining clamp may be used in lieu of a snap ring and spacers for axial positioning and the elimination of end play of the "CEM" clutch and its associated components.

Drive clamp: The drive clamp provides a convenient means for driving the "CEM" clutch sleeve, in either the input or output mode of operation. Use of the clamp eliminates the drilling of a hole crosswise through the drive shaft. In addition, the clamp permits precise axial positioning as well as angular phasing of the clutch on the shaft.
