91MXY is a nine-position, single-pole, momentary contact switch. Referring to the vector diagram above, actuation of any one of the four inboard switches, X₁, X₃, Y₁, Y₃, is accomplished by deflection of the operating handle a short distance along the desired axis. Full range deflection of the operating handle in either direction, along either axis, actuates both of the switches common to that axis. Internal guides prevent the simultaneous actuation of more than one bank of switches. Release of the operating handle automatically returns it to the "OFF" position.
